Introduction
This page explains how GOJO Secure is structured and provides several key technical specifications regarding how is it maintained.
The unique styling features of content pages in GOJO Secure are important to have at hand when creating or configuring new content pages and when converting “old” page layouts to our current specification. We build, customize and maintain these pages using the DIVI theme in WordPress, which is a specialized platform that allows users to build websites without knowing how to write the base code used by professional web developers.
This guide is not a complete tutorial on how to use DIVI — but you can find useful tutorials on the Elegant Themes website. Here are some useful links:
How GOJO Secure Is Structured

The structure of the GOJO Secure website is simple: The “home” page (the main user interface) was created by hand from HTML5 and CSS3 code. The page is located in a cloud-storage domain called gojocloud.com. The code structure of that single-page website is located in a folder called GOJO LCARS Homepage in a file called index.html, which is linked to an external style sheet called style.css that resides in the same location. The individual content pages were created using WordPress.
The structure of the code (HTML5 and CSS3) is complex, and no one who is not an expert web designer should attempt to modify it. One character out of place in that code could crash the whole website. At right you see the first part of the HTML5 code; the displayed portion is only about 5% of the total code for the GOJO Secure home page. An expert web designer would have little difficulty studying and understanding it; in the event of the demise or incapacity of the Firm’s founder, who developed and maintains the code, the Firm will hire a skilled web developer to maintain and change that code. A separate page is presently under development which will provide a complete description of the code as well as the necessary server and login settings. The code was built using Dreamweaver, a web-design application made by Adobe, which is the industry standard among professional website developers.
Unlike the user interface (the “home” or “landing” page of GOJO Secure), individual content pages in GOJO Secure are created and maintained using the DIVI theme in WordPress. Those pages reside in the domain called gojosecure.com, hosted by SiteGround, which also hosts the Firm website gojolaw.com. The reason we don’t use “hand-coding” for those pages is that once the page formats have been developed as DIVI templates, the word-processing is much easier using the DIVI theme, which lends itself to text processing and has a number of pre-engineered modules that perform sophisticated functions and are easy to use without much additional coding. The DIVI site where individual content pages are stored may be accessed by opening a browser and navigating to gojosecure.com/wordpress1/wp-admin/. Login username and passwords can be assigned to you by the Founder’s LSS.
Page Content Margins
The contents of the individual content pages reside in the “white part” of the page; when pages are being created, they will be based on pre-designed templates; a separate template for Policies, Procedures and Practice Guides have each already been developed.
Shown at below is a sample page on which the basic formatting (CSS) for a sample Policy page (this one). If text looks wrong on a page, it will usually be because these settings have been inadvertently changed.
As mentioned above, we work with these pages in the DIVI builder. Each module may be edited and formatted individually by clicking on the “gear” icon that appears at the top of each module.
